Day 1Welcome to Costa Rica!

That day you will fly to Costa Rica to Juan Santamaria International Airport, where you will be picked up by an English-speaking resident. Then, by private transport, we will go to a hotel in the center of San José, where all participants will be accommodated in double rooms (it is possible to pay extra for a single room). On this day a short trip around the center of San José is planned for those willing. We will finish the day with dinner.

Day 2Treasures of San José

We will start this day with breakfast at the hotel, after which we will set off to conquer the city. We will visit the local market, central park and Costa Rican treasure museum. All this without haste in the spirit of Costa Rican Pura Vida.

Day 3Cliffs and crocodiles

After breakfast, we will check out of the hotel and set off in a private transport towards the Pacific Ocean. On our way we will stop to see cliffs that resemble those known from the British Isles. We will not miss the famous bridge in Jacó, under which real crocodiles live. You will be able to take photos and even feed these beautiful animals. Of course, everything from a safe distance. Then we will enter the town of Jacó, where we will be greeted by an abandoned and haunted hotel, whose history you will listen to with interest. After these attractions there will be time for dinner and a walk on the beach. In the afternoon we will reach the hotel in Quepos.

Day 4Manuel Antonio National Park

That day we will visit the Manuel Antonio National Park, which impresses with its rich flora and fauna. The uniqueness of this place was even appreciated by Forbes magazine, which placed Manuel Antonio on the list of 12 most beautiful parks in the world! In addition to watching exotic animals, there will also be time to relax on the exceptionally beautiful beach. We’ll have it all day. You can read more about the park here: The best beaches in Costa Rica.

Day 5The rainforest

A visit to the jungle will be an amazing experience that will stay in your memory for a long time. We will go to a waterfall hidden in the rainforest. The road to it will lead through the jungle and hanging footbridges. A local guide will lead us through beautiful places and try to find wild animals in their natural habitat. There will be many opportunities to take beautiful photos, and even swim in the waterfall.

Day 6Uvita - the house of whales

That day we will reach the town of Uvita, which is known as a whale watching site during their annual migration. For a few days we will stay at the hotel, which is only 300m from the beach. There will be many opportunities for walking and resting on hot sand.

Day 7Rest on the beach

The whole day is at your disposal. We can lie on the beach or by the hotel pool to finally have a good rest. For those willing, there will be an opportunity to visit nearby beaches.

Day 8Diving, quads, horse riding

On this day you can choose to rest on the beach or buy one of the many optional trips. Whether it will be riding horses, quads or surfing lesson, it will certainly be an unforgettable experience. An equally good idea is underwater adventure day with an instructor who will introduce you to the world of diving. The opportunity to see the underwater world of Costa Rica can be unique, the more worth taking advantage of. You don’t need to have any previous experience!

Day 9Coffee plantation and old capital

Costa Rica is famous for its delicious coffee, so we must visit one of the many plantations. It will be an opportunity to collect the seeds from the bushes yourself and learn the whole procedure of preparing the beans. We will try coffee brewed in a Costa Rican way and eat snacks that are also made of coffee beans. If you want it will be the perfect time to buy coffee to take home. After visiting the plantation, we will cross the mountains to the old capital of Costa Rica, that is, Cartago. The road that we will move runs around the highest peak of Costa Rica , which guarantees beautiful views.

Day 10Irazu volcano

After breakfast we will go to one of the many volcanoes – Irazu. The trip will not be very demanding, because we will move by cars. At the top of the volcano we will see a colorful lake and an amazing view of San Jose and the Caribbean side. This is one of those places that you just have to see!

Day 11Ruins of the first church in Costa Rica

The small town of Ujarras is located in one of the most beautiful central regions of the country. Surrounded by greenery of the Orosi Valley, Ujarras is a historic place. It is here that the ruins of the oldest church in Costa Rica are located. The Spanish colonial church was built in 1575–1580. Today, the ruins are surrounded by a beautiful garden where residents spend Sunday afternoons. The artificial lake Cachi is also nearby, with an impressive dam on it. After visiting these places we will go to the city of Alajuela, where we will spend the last evening. At the end of our trip, we will go for a farewell dinner, during which each of you will receive a small gift.

Day 12Time to say goodbye

This is your last day in Costa Rica. Depending on the time of departure, you can spend it shopping or go for a walk in the less touristy corners of the city. Three hours before departure, participants will be taken to the airport, where our trip will end.
